Body of woman with stab wounds found from Moti Nagar house

The body of a woman with stab wounds was found at her residence in west Delhi's Moti Nagar today, the police said.
The body of Frescila David (53), a widow, was found lying in a pool of blood on a sofa by her daughter after she returned home from work, the police said, adding that the body had stab injuries on the stomach and chest.
The house had been ransacked, the police said, adding that it was suspected that the assailant was known to the victim as there was no primary evidence of a forced entry into the house.
The police are scanning the CCTV footage obtained from the locality to identify the accused. They are also probing whether robbery was the motive behind the crime.
