Body was Jhargram biz man's son found in Odisha
Press Trust of India Jhargram(WB) The body of a Jhargram-based businessman's missing son was recovered from the Ganjam district in Odisha today and three persons were arrested in connection with the youth's abduction, police said.
Saurav Agarwal (24) alias Rocky, son of businessman Pawan Agarwal, a resident of the Jamda area of Jhargram, went missing on April 25 while he was on his way to deposit cash in a private bank in the Chandabila area of the town.
"We were investigating the abduction case and today received information that the youth's body was found in the Rambha area of Ganjam district in Odisha. There are multiple assault marks on the body. We are waiting for the detailed post-mortem report," said Jhargram district superintendent of police, Alok Rajoria.
"Three persons who were known to Pawan Agarwal and worked as contractors, have already been arrested in connection with the kidnapping after investigations revealed that they had demanded money from Saurav. The probe is on to trace the killers of the youth," the officer added.
