Bodybuilder nabs chain snatcher duo

Two suspected snatchers have been arrested after a bodybuilder caught hold of them while they were trying to flee after snatching his chain in Rohini, police said today.
24-year-old Suresh alias Guddu and Suraj (22) tried to snatch the chain of Rohit Rana using a stolen two-wheeler on February 28, M N Tiwari, Deputy Commissioner of police (Rohini District) said.
"However, the attempt was foiled as Rohit and the public managed to catch hold of the accused," said the officer.
During interrogation, the duo allegedly revealed that they used the stolen motorcycle for a series of robbery and chain snatching.

"It is learnt that the duo was involved in 15 cases of chain snatching and robbery," said the officer.
The police officer said Rohit along with a few others who helped in catching hold of the accused will be rewarded.
