Bollywood remembers their 'gurus' on Teachers' Day

Remembering their first directors and school masters, Bollywood stars today paid tribute to their gurus on the occasion of Teachers' Day.
Actors including Shabana Azmi, Arjun Rampal, Ayushmann Khurrana became nostalgic and took to micro-blogging site Twitter to express their admiration for their teachers.
"A big salute to all the teachers who helped shape me especially my acting guru professor Roshan Taneja and to all involved in this noble profession," Shabana Azmi posted.
Ayushmann, who made his acting debut with Shoojit Sircar's "Vicky Donor", said, "Happy Teachers day Shoojit Sircar and Rohan Sippy."
Filmmaker Ken Ghosh remembered his school teachers and wrote "To Mr Roberts (princi), Mr Beamen (eng lang), Mr Aitkins (lit) Mr Barrow (geog/house master), Mr Guzder (debate n drama)- happy teachers day."
"Life is like a game of cards. The hand that is dealt you is determinism, the way you play it is free will. Jawaharlal Nehru. Happy teachers day," posted Arjun Rampal.

For veteran actor like Anupam Kher and director Anubhav Sinha, their lives are the biggest teacher.
"My Life is my Best Teacher. It taught me to laugh, cry, learn, unlearn, be vulnerable but never Give up. Fight for what is Right. Jai Ho!," Kher said.
"Thank you life, friends, foes and those who were actually meant to TEACH. Happy Teachers' Day," Sinha posted.
"The art of teaching is the art of awakening. Happy Teachers' Day," wrote Shekhar Kapur.
Farhan Akhtar said, "A big thank you to those who patiently impart knowledge to the usually impatient. Happy
Teachers Day.
