Bollywood celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, the Khan troika of Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir, and Deepika Padukone cast their votes in Mumbai on Monday in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections.
Polling took place for 17 seats in Maharashtra including six in Mumbai on Monday.
Priyanka Chopra, Rekha, Aamir and wife Kiran Rao were among the early voters.
The Bachchan family -- Amitabh, Jaya, Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai -- exercised their franchise at a polling booth in Juhu around noon.
The Mount Mary booth in Bandra saw Salman and Arbaaz Kha and filmmaker siblings Farhan and Zoya Akhtar voting.
Shah Rukh Khan was seen arriving at the booth with wife Gauri and son AbRam.
SRK, it was learnt, came directly from the airport, after arriving from Kolkata where he had gone to attend a match of his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders.
At a polling booth in Juhu, actor Hrithik Roshan lost his cool when media videographers came too close to his father, film-maker Rakesh Roshan.
"What's wrong with you guys? My father is not well, respect that," the actor said.
Actor couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone also voted, with Deepika later taking to social media and delivering a rebuke to those spreading rumours that she held citizenship of a foreign country.
"Never has there been any doubt in my mind about who I am or where I'm from. So for those of you confused on my behalf...please don't be!Jai Hind," she wrote on Twitter.
Priety Zinta, who also cast her vote, said it was important for the the youth to go out and vote.
"We keep saying 'this is not good, that isn't okay'. So whatever issues you have, keep them in mind and vote accordingly," the actor said.
Iconic singer Asha Bhosle, actors Kangana Ranaut, Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt and his wife Manyata, writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar, Gulzar, filmmaker Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra and Prem Chopra also voted.
So did actor and BJP MP Paresh Rawal, who voted in suburban Vile-Parle.
After casting her vote, Kangana told reporters, "It is a very important day, which comes once in five years. So please make use of it.
Under previous governments, the country was in the "worst state possible", the actor said, and added that people should come out in large numbers and "vote for India."
Posting on Twitter a selfie showing her inked finger, Priyanka wrote, "This is the moment that matters.... Every vote is a voice that counts. #LokSabhaElections2019."
While Madhuri Dixit tweeted, "Voting is our right, let's use it wisely! The future of our country is in our hands. Let's do our duty and #VoteForIndia."
Actor Anupam Kher tweeted, "I exercised my democratic right. Did you? Please vote."
Actor Amrita Rao, who cast vote in Mahim, told PTI that "voting is important for everyone irrespective of their status."
