: An anonymous threat call that a bomb would explode in a twin theatre here today turned out to be hoax, police said.
The police control room received the call around 10 AM stating that a bomb planted in the theatre would explode 'at any time'. A bomb detection squad rushed to the spot and carried out a search, aided by sniffer dogs, but nothing was found
Movie goers were asked to come out, police said, adding the show continued after the search.
They said the call was traced to a coin operated telephone box in a provision store in Kuniyamuthur area and a search was on for the caller, police added.
