Bomb threats to 2 schools turn out to be hoax

Hoax bomb threat calls to two schools kept the city police on their toes today.
The calls were received at the police control room this morning where the caller claimed that bombs had been planted in two private schools in the city, officials said.
Bomb detection and disposal squads were pressed into service which scanned the premises of the two institutions but no explosives were found, they said.
Anxious parents were seen taking their wards away on receiving information about the bomb threat.
