The company had posted a net profit of Rs 157.8 crore for the same period of previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company stood at Rs 1,126.25 crore for the quarter, up 33.26 per cent compared with Rs 845.1 crore for the year-ago period, Bombay Dyeing said in a BSE filing.
Overall expenses during the quarter were at Rs 881.76 crore, an increase of 36.30 per cent as against Rs 646.9 crore in the corresponding period last year.
