Book chronicling Tata Chemicals' evolution released

Tata Chemicals Limited today unveiled 'Salt of the Earth: The Story of Tata Chemicals', a chronicle of the company and the people who shaped it over the 75 years of its existence.
"After 75 years of commendable service, Tata Chemicals, today, is India's rendition of the changing face of chemicals where science, consumerisation, sustainability and technology merge together to identify the requirement and resolve possible issues by providing contemporary solutions," former Infosys Vice-Chairman S Gopalakrishnan said.
The book was released at an event here by S Gopalakrishnan, Co-Founder and Former Vice-Chairman, Infosys Limited, in the presence of R Mukundan, Tata Chemicals' Managing Director and authors of the book, Philip Chacko and Christabelle Noronha.
The book narrates how the company reached where it is today and its journey so far has been extraordinary and incredibly exciting, Mukundan said.
