A coffee table book, profiling the success stories of top Indian business leaders, achievers and corporate heads in the Middle East and Africa, has been launched here by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
Swaraj launched the book 'Indian Super 100' during her recently-concluded visit to the UAE.
The External Affairs Minister addressed a gathering of top 100 NRI business leaders and professionals in the UAE while launching the book.
"The book 'Indian Super 100' was a shining example of the capabilities of the Indian entrepreneurial spirit," she said.
The Indian Super 100 is conceived as a benchmark coffee table book profiling the remarkable and inspirational success sagas of the most admirable and influential top Indian business leaders, great Indian achievers and corporate heads in the Middle East and Africa.
Noting that the book had only two women achievers listed, she appealed to the editor and publisher of the book, Biju Ninan, to come up with an edition of 50 women achievers and also one on the achievements of grassroots social workers who selflessly work without any returns.
India's Ambassador to the UAE T P Seetharaman and Consulate General Anurag Bhushan praised the good work done by Indian business leaders and professionals in the UAE.
Swaraj was in the UAE from November 10-12. During the visit Swaraj also met her counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
