Bootlegger arrested

Excise personnel have arrested a bootlegger and seized over 100 litres of illicit Indian made foreign liquor and country-made liquor at Rajnagar area of Odisha's Kendrapara district, excise officials said today.
The arrest was made in an interception at Ishwarpur village close to the Bhitarkanika wildlife sanctuary under Rajnagar police jurisdiction yesterday.
The arrested accused Laxmidhar Barik booked under provisions of Bihar-Odisha Excise Act was produced in court which remanded him to jail custody, they said.
