"Based on the proposal and action submitted by the company the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board...Has extended the abeyance order for further period of three weeks up to December 17," Bosch Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
The company would co-operate with the authorities for early resolution of the matter, it added.
On October 28, the company had stated that it would cease operations at its Jaipur plant following a notice by RSPCB for alleged violation of norms regarding waste water treatment. The board had revoked consent given to operate the plant.
Bosch said the plant had a licence valid till February 28, 2017.
The revocation of the licence was for alleged "non- fulfilment of certain conditions with respect to waste water treatment and re-use of the treated water".
Commissioned in 1999, the company's Jaipur facility is the lead plant for fuel injection pumps for diesel engines. It supplies these pumps to many major automobile manufacturers in India.
