"Bosch's iTraMS platform is a connectivity solution tailored to the Indian market. It provides accurate vehicle information on your smartphone and can immensely reduce everyday driving cost," a member of the board of management at Robert Bosch GmbH, Markus Heyn said.
Bosch would continue its innovation drive, which are beneficial and applicable across wide spectrum, he added.
In India, the company has over 14,000 research and development engineers and had filed over 200 patents in 2015.
"We believe in the further growth potential and further growth of the industry and therefore we have invested very heavily but he market has not developed very strongly in the last years," Managing Director at Bosch India Steffen Berns said.
In 2014, Bosch earned a revenue of Rs 9,570 crore.
