The Tomasica grave in northwest Bosnia was found in September long after the civil war ended in 1995 and 430 bodies of Bosniaks and Croats killed by Serb troops have been found. Experts expect to find at least 300 more.
Covering more than 5,000 square meters and 10 meters deep, the mass grave could be the largest one found in Bosnia.
Twitter user Anel Dzoko declared yesterday "Tomasica tweet day," inviting people to discuss the discovery and "pay respect to the victims of this crime." Hundreds of people responded, tweeting and retweeting.
