Box of chemicals emits fumes at airport cargo section

Airport Authorities went into a tizzy here today after a box of chemicals emitted fumes at the international cargo section but it was immediately contained using a chemical solution and removed.
CISF personnel alerted the Fire and Rescue Services Department on noting fumes from the box of chemicals imported from Singapore, a senior Fire official said.
The fumes was immediately contained using a chemical solution and the box was removed.
Nobody was affected in the incident, the official said but declined to elaborate.
