A plus-two student was arrested Saturday for allegedly killing a class VII girl by electrocuting her after sexually harassing her, police said.
The 12-year old girl was found dead in her house near Vadamathurai in the district, and a case of suspicious death was registered, the police said.
Investigation revealed the boy had sexually harassed the girl and then killed her by electrocution, they said.
The parents of the girl staged an agitation demanding the arrest of the accused, they added.
