Boy injured at PCA stadium
Press Trust of India Mohali A boy was injured when a ball hit him on his chest during a warm-up practice session ahead of final IPL league match between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings at PCA stadium here today.
Some reports said that KXIP batsman David Miller was practising the pull shot close to the boundary rope in front of the Gate 14 stand when he hit one straight into the stands that hit the boy in his chest.
PCA Chief Executive Officer Brig G S Sandhu (retd) said that a boy had been injured and provided immediate medical aid at the PCA itself.
He, however, could not confirm if the shot was hit by Miller. The boy had later also been taken to a hospital for X-ray and other tests, sources said.
