Boy killed by army vehicle

A seven-year-old school boy was killed by an army vehicle at Barrackpore, about 25 km from Kolkata, today.
Police said Supratik Das was waiting with his mother at a crossing near Barrackpore army cantonment in a scooty when they were hit by the army vehicle from the rear.
Supratik was rushed to the hospital where he died. His mother, who too sustained injuries, is under treatment in the same hospital.
None was arrested so far, the police added.
