Shitij, who had come here from Bhopal to attend a wedding, was killed after being run over by the car this morning, they said.
Later the car hit a scooter and tempo injuring seven others, who have been admitted to the district hospital, police said.
The car driver was nabbed by locals and handed over to police, they said.
