The band, comprising Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating and Shane Lynch, recently embarked on a tour in honour of bandmate Stephen Gately, who died in 2009.

Duffy said that they are planning another trek, as well as an album, in recognition of their 20 years in the spotlight, reported Sun online.

"We've plans in place for a tour and an album next year for the 20th anniversary - that's if people want to come and see us," Duffy said.

"We've a very loyal fanbase that always come in their thousands. It's a nice set-up. We never broke up, so we can take time out to do our own thing, and then get back together when it suits," he added.

The group formed after responding to an advertisement hunting for stars in 1993, and their debut album, 'Said and Done' hit shelves the following year.

The band took time out in the 2000s, but was left devastated when Gately died, five months before their comeback record 'Brother' was released.
