The producers of the film, however, have warned the residents of a sleepy Oxfordshire village to not get alarmed about "intermittent controlled gun fire".
The crew is in Shirburn, near Henley-on-Thames - which has a population of just over 100 people. Until recently, the villagers were unaware that Pitt and his crew were on their doorstep, reported Telegraph.
Members of the production company Pinewood have posted leaflets through the doors of houses warning that there could be "loud and unexpected noises" including the sound of gunfire and explosions.
Set in 1945 during the collapse of the Nazi regime and follows the five-man crew of an American tank called Fury, lead by Pitt as they attempt a deadly mission behind enemy lines.
Pinewood is planning to erect a viewing platform for the public to sit and watch the shooting.
