Ram Bhuj was declared brain dead on January 2 after he met with an accident on December 30 in Sangam Vihar.
The organs retrieved from him saved five lives and gave vision to two persons. The donation took place on Saturday.
"Bhuj was brought to AIIMS Trauma Centre on December 30 with severe head injuries after he met with a bike accident. The primary consent for the organ donation was given by his two brothers and later by his father.
ILBS split the liver into two and transplanted it into a child and an adult. The corneas have been preserved at the hospital.
Further, the kidneys were transplanted in two women aged 27 and 54, undergoing treatment at AIIMS.
"There were only two cadaver donations last year, despite 60 brain dead cases. On an average, there are 10-12 cadaver donations every year.
