While submitting the notice against Khadse, Shiv Sena's Gulabrao Patil said during the winter session at Nagpur, he had told the Assembly that the local Sub-Divisional Officer and Tehsildar had been found guilty in an illegal sand mining case in Savner, Nagpur district and they would be suspended.
However, four months have passed and but no action has been taken against the two. This is an insult of the Assembly as the assurance given to it has not been fulfilled, said Patil, whose party is part of the ruling coalition.
Fadnavis had also talked about an agreement between Maharashtra and Gujarat on Damanganga River waters signed in 2010 by then Chief Minister Ashok Chavan, he said.
"I have documents to prove that such an agreement was never signed in 2010," Awhad said, adding that Fadnavis had misled the House.
