The MeT department said the maximum temperature is likely to settle around 26 degrees Celsius.
"The minimum temperature recorded at Safdarjung observatory was 7.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal. The readings at other weather stations were -- Lodhi Road (7.6), Ayanagar (8.0), Palam (9.0) and Ridge (8.0)," a MeT official said.
The reading of Safdarjung observatory is considered official.
The relative humidity recorded at 8:30 am was 92 per cent.
The maximum and minimum temperatures tomorrow are likely to be around 25 and 9 degrees Celsius, respectively.
