The minimum was 7.7 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, said a Met department official.
There was thin fog in the morning and visibility was recorded at 500 metres at 8.30 AM. It improved significantly to 3,000 meters at 11.30 AM, officials of the Safdarjung observatory said.
While flight operations were normal, 12 Delhi-bound trains were reported to be running late and 37 others remained cancelled as announced earlier.
Humidity in air oscillated between 32 and 90 per cent.
"The skies will be mainly clear. Mist and shallow fog is likely to occur in some parts of the city. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 24 deg C while the minimum is likely to settle at 9 deg C," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the minimum was 7.2 degrees Celsius, while the maximum had settled at 21.7 degrees Celsius.
