British Airways celebrates 10 yrs of flying to B'luru

British Airways is celebrating ten years of flying to the IT city.
British Airways' Boeing 777 connected London with Bengaluru on October 30, 2005, with a five-flights-per-week service.
"Today, after 10 years of flying to the city, we operate daily flights between London and Bengaluru, offering three class configuration -- Club World (Business), World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) and World Traveller (Economy)-- to our customers," company officials said.
The airline has recently launched its A380 on the San Francisco route.
Its flights from Bengaluru provide seamless connections through Heathrow Terminal 5, to customers, specially IT professionals travelling to San Jose and San Fransisco, British Airways' Regional Commercial Manager, South Asia Moran Birger told reporters here.
Stating that India is the second largest market outside the UK, he said the British Airways' first Boeing 787-9 would start its commercial operations from Delhi from October 25.
