The offer to commemorate India's Independence Day, would be applicable on the carrier's World Traveller economy, World Traveller Plus premium economy and world business classes.
In a statement today, British Airways said the "offer is available for outbound travel from India between September 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015, and must be booked by August 16, 2015".
British Airways operates 49 flights a week from five cities -- New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Gulf carrier Emirates has also announced promotional fares for passengers travelling from 10 Indian destinations to the Middle East.

The promotion would be applicable on bookings made till August 17 for travel between September 10 and December 10.
Emirates has 186 flights a week to 10 Indian destinations -- Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram.
In a separate statement, Virgin Atlantic said it would offer travel options to four Indian cities through an expanded code share agreement with Jet Airways.
All boarding passes would be issued at the originating airport, whether their travel originates in the India or UK, it added.
Virgin Atlantic operates a daily service between Delhi and London Heathrow.
