The "pro-corporate BJP" was following dangerous fascist policies and it was essential to go for state specific electoral tactics to take on the BJP-led front, CPI General Secretary S Sudhakar Reddy said here.
He was addressing party workers on the opening day of the four-day Kerala state CPI conference.
Reddy also said the broad secular platform need not be an electoral alliance.
He called for strengthening Left unity by which a larger section of the democratic and secular forces in the country can be mobilised.
The CPI leader alleged that the 'Sangh Parivar' was attempting to disrupt the communal harmony in Kerala.
