Jugal Sharma, brother of former cricketer Ajay Sharma, was found dead at his residence in north Delhi's Shakti Nagar area today.
The incident came to light in the morning, when locals complained of stench emanating from his second floor apartment and called up police. Prima facie, it is a case of natural death and no foul play is suspected, a senior police official said.
Sharma, brother of the prominent Indian first-class cricket batsman, lived in the apartment alone. His body was found in a decomposed state, suggesting that he died at least two days ago, the official said.
