Bryan Cranston's play 'All the Way' gets movie adaptation

'Breaking Bad' star Bryan Cranston is all set to reprise his role of former US President Lydon Johnson in his Tony-winning Broadway show 'All The Way' in a TV movie.
'All The Way', Cranston's debut on Broadway, has been acquired by HBO for a movie version. Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Schenkkan is on board to adapt the play for HBO Films, said the Hollywood Reporter.
The HBO movie will be produced by Amblin Television, Tale Told Productions and Moon Shot Entertainment, with Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey on board to executive produce alongside Schenkkan and Cranston.
'All the Way' looks at LBJ's tumultuous first year in office as he takes the oath in the wake of President John F Kennedy's assassination.

Cranston earned rave reviews and the Tony for lead actor in a play, as well as other prizes including the Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theater World Awards for his performance as Johnson.
He next stars as Dalton Trumbo in Jay Roach's 'Trumbo'.
