An Oscar-nominated director is reportedly working on a scandalous documentary about sex abuse in Hollywood that may include allegations about 'X-Men' director Bryan Singer.
Amy Berg has spent two years researching the documentary and Michael Egan, who filed a lawsuit this week alleging Singer raped him as a teenager, has been cooperating with her on her documentary, reported Variety.
It is not clear whether Egan will be on camera in the documentary.
Berg has previously earned an Oscar nomination for her 2006 documentary 'Deliver Us From Evil', which was about sex abuse allegations in the Catholic Church.
Her most recent work include Peter Jackson-produced 'West of Memphis' and a feature film 'Every Secret Thing' which is at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Egan, 31, filed a lawsuit recently in Hawaii federal court accusing the director of sexually assaulting him multiple times in the late 1990s when he was just 15, a claim denied by the director's attorney, Marty Singer, who has filed a counter lawsuit.

Marty has called the lawsuit "absurd and defamatory."
"The claims made against Bryan Singer are completely without merit. We are very confident that Bryan will be vindicated in this absurd and defamatory lawsuit. It is obvious that this case was filed in an attempt to get publicity at the time when Bryan's new movie 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' is about to open in a few weeks," he said.
The director, meanwhile, has cancelled two major public appearances to promote the latest movie in the mega budget franchise, starring Hugh Jackman.
