BSE completes trading from Hyderabad disaster recovery site

The Bombay Stock Exchange today said it successfully completed trading operations from its Disaster Recovery (DR) site in Hyderabad on September 3 and September 5 2015.
"We have successfully completed trading operations from our Disaster Recovery (DR) site in Hyderabad on September 3 and September 5, 2015. Trading across all market segments was conducted seamlessly," BSE said in a statement here.
The switchover to the disaster recovery site and returning to the primary site was a very seamless affair with no impact to any market participant, the release said.
The new BSE disaster recovery centre is a data centre built as per international Tier-3 specifications on 68,000 square feet of land.
BSE said that technologically, it is the most advanced exchange in India and the seamless manner in which operations went live from the disaster recovery site is an indication of the same.
