BSE's investor count crosses 3-crore mark

Leading stock exchange BSE now has more than three crore registered investors.
BSE said the total number of investors registered on its platform today reached 3.02 crore, it said in a statement today.
BSE is the world's largest exchange in terms of the number of listed entities, which currently stands at 5,754.
Earlier last year, BSE upgraded its equity trading platform software 'Bolt Plus' which is based on T7, the global trading architecture of Deutsche Bourse AG.
One of the key features of the system is its response time of approximately 6 micro seconds, making BSE the fastest trading platform in the country.
