The new limits, which ensure that stock prices do not go up or down beyond a level during a trading session, will be effective from tomorrow.
DCM Shriram Industries and the price of six companies -- Kakatiya Cement Sugar & Industries, Perfect-Octave Media Projects, Ugar Sugar Works, India Tourism Development Corporation, Kalpa Commercial and Ginni Filaments -- cannot change by more than 10 per cent in a day, BSE said in a circular.
It has also set an upper limit of 5 per cent for four firms - Rainbow Papers, Pil Italica Lifestyle, Thiru Arooran Sugars and Sphere Global Services.
"Trading members of the exchange are hereby informed that the circuit filters has/have been changed from their existing levels in the scrips (13) with effect from April 5, 2016," BSE said.
