The new limits, which ensure that stock prices do not go up or down beyond a level during a trading session, will be effective from tomorrow.
According to a BSE circular, the share price of Jindal Stainless can not change by more than 20 per cent in a day.
The stock exchange has set a limit of 10 per cent for five firms - Restile Ceramics, Associated Alcohols & Breweries, GRM Overseas, Palred Technologies and Accel Frontline.
However, limits for Meenakshi Enterprises and Vitan Agro Industries has been set at 2 per cent.
"Trading Members of the Exchange are... Informed that the circuit filters has/have been changed from their existing levels in (18) scrips with effect from February 11, 2016," BSE said.
