BSF jawan electrocuted

A BSF jawan was today electrocuted when he came in contact with a live wire while repairing wiring in a border post in Punjab's Gurdaspur.
The jawan, identified as Sunil Kumar, was posted in the forces' water wing and was working at present with the 74th battalion of the border guarding force deployed in the state along the Indo-Pak border.
The incident occurred at 8:30 AM at the Kotnajada post and the trooper was rushed to a hospital in Ajnala where he was declared brought dead.
Kumar hailed from Haryana's Jhajjar. An inquiry has been ordered into the circumstances of his death by the Border Security Force (BSF).
