BSP supremo Mayawati told reporters outside Parliament that the CAG has given reports on estimated "undue benefits" of over Rs 3.06 lakh crore to private parties in coal block allotment without bidding, Delhi airport development and diversion of coal to a power project.

Noting that the alleged scams had "caused great economic loss" to the government, she said, "This is a serious issue ... There should be a proper high-level investigation to bring out the truth."

The BSP leader was asked to comment on the opposition demand for resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over the alleged scams brought out by the CAG.

Asked about the all-party meeting on reservation for SC/STs in promotion in government jobs, she said, "The Prime Minister and the government has said that the House has already discussed it but since this is a serious issue, let there be a discussion at the all-party meeting. Whatever is the outcome, it should be discussed in the House."

On the Samajwadi Party's stand to oppose the proposed reservation in promotions, she said, "Let us see what happens at the all-party meeting."
