BSP leader, former IPS officers join BJP

Two retired IPS officers and a BSP leader joined the BJP today, in the presence of MP party President Narendra Singh Tomar.
Welcoming the former IPS officers Ramesh Sharma and Hari Singh Yadav into the party, Tomar said that both of them had expressed their desire to serve the people of the state after the end of their careers and had therefore joined the BJP.
Dharmendra Tiwari who left the BSP to join BJP spoke about how he had high hopes that the Mayawati-led party would transform the lives of downtrodden people, but got disappointed.
He claimed that he was inspired by the policies of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh and therefore joined the BJP today.
Another former IPS official Rustam Singh, senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Anil Madhav Dave and BJP MLA and spokesman Vishwas Sarang among others were present on the occasion.
