Vice-Chancellor Dr Smirti Kumar Sarkar said that students having 50 per cent marks from any ecognised university is eligible to pursue the course.
"The course will start from July and this is the first time in West Bengal such a course is being launched," he said.
The university has got the permission from National Council of Education and admission process will begin next month.
Students will be able to pursue courses in Science, Arts and Commerce stream by paying a course fee of Rs 25,000, officials said.
