The seven budding designers are Aniket Satam, Sneha Arora, Asa Kazingmei, Kavita Sharma, Richa Aggarwal, Astha Sethi and Sidharth Arora and a group called 'Threesome'.
The show began with Ashta and Sidharth's line of women's wear, called 'Comical Fellow'. It had jackets with emphasis on shoulder, pants, short dresses all in shades of blue, yellow and black.
The 'Threesome' group including Mehak Pruthi, Kanika Seth and Ankit Sharma displayed their collection for men and women, inspired by 'Avatar', the 3D Hollywood film.
Bringing in a touch of desi styling, Richa Aggarwal's designs were multi-patterned pants, stylish waist coats, cool tops and colourful capris that revealed traditional textiles and crafts.
"I tried to represent India's streets through my collection. My clothes are simple, yet wearable," Richa said.
Kavita Sharma's range 'It's a Beautiful Life', had embellished dresses, long skirts and seductive tops. "The collection was based on the idea of rebirth depicted in the Bhagwad Gita," Kavita said.
