The budget session of the Puducherry assembly has been reconvened to June 4 to adopt a full-fledged budget for the fiscal 2018-19.
A notification issued by the Secretary of Assembly A Vincent Rayar today said the House has been reconvened to meet at 10 AM on June 4.
The House had on March 26 adopted an interim budget then earmarking funds for the first four months (April to July) of the fiscal 2018-2019 by passingVote on Account Bill to enable the territorial government to meet its expenditure from out of the Consolidated Fund.
However, the exact date on which the Chief Minister would present the full-fledged budget was not decided as yet, official sources told.
