Following the explosion of a bomb (of specification 13 BKP-2 APT), which was kept in the building after being rejected by the Army, the entire magazine went up in flames and collapsed, OFK's Joint General Manager B B Singh told reporters.
The bombs rejected by Army were stored in the magazine specially constructed for the purpose. The building has no power connection and even entry of employees in it is restricted, he said.
No loss of life was reported from the site, he said, adding that the cause of the blast was yet to be ascertained.
