"I will tell unabashedly - this year we will be in semifinals, though we have young players. We are positioned fifth on the points table, we will storm into the top four zone and be in semifinals, from thereon," Wala told reporters.
Bengaluru are placed fifth on the points table with 20 points, after having lost three matches and winning as many matches, with one match ending in a draw.
"We believe in fielding young players, and our aim is to build a team over time, which will perform consistently. Our side has lost matches with two to three points margin not a big margin," he said.
Bengaluru has an impressive lineup of players who have shown remarkable performances throughout the season. Wala further said the team performed really well in the first two seasons, but had a very bad third season as they lost all their senior players and fielded young players.
