difference. He would visit schools, follow mothers who came there to pick up their children to select his targets but landed in police net recently.

Sudhir Singh was apprehended from south Delhi's Kotla Mubarakpur on May 10 following an input that a man involved in a burglary case would come there, DCP (South) Chhaya Sharma said.

"He used to visit the schools where mothers come to pick their wards. Then he would follow the lady to her house to judge that during that period whether there is other family members present in the house or not and would select the target.

"Next day, Sudhir would strike the same house as soon as mother leaves the house after getting it locked. He also used to roam in government colonies and target locked houses. He used to go to the neighbours posing as acquaintance of the owners and would ask 'yeh kab aayenge (when will they come)' and after confirming their absence, he would strike at the house," Sharma said.

With Sudhir's arrest, she claimed, police has solved four cases. He was earlier involved in eight other cases of burglary.
