Six men involved in several cases of burglary were arrested from Sopore area and stolen items including gold jewellery were recovered from them, a police spokesman said.
The spokesman said a "major success" was achieved when police busted a gang of car-lifters operating in Baramulla district.
Two men involved in car thefts were arrested and eight cars and bikes recovered.
