Burglary gang busted in Rajasthan, 8 arrested

The police here today claimed to have busted a burglary gang, involved in a number of crimes in various parts of the country, with the arrest of eight of its members.
On November 13, unidentified persons looted a mobile phone showroom on the Rawatbhata Road here and at the same time another shop was looted in Kotari circle area, the police said.
Two teams were formed to probe into the incidents and eight members of the gang were arrested today, SP (City) Anshuman Bhomia said, adding all the arrested accused were residents of Motihari in Bihar.
During interrogation, the accused revealed that they were also involved in burglaries in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Tripura, the police officer said.
