The incident was reported from Netaji Subhash Place and the deceased has been identified as Sunil Kumar who hailed from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
The driver found Kumar hanging from the roof of the bus and informed police. Kumar was taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
"The driver had gone home after parking the vehicle. Kumar stayed back in the bus and when the driver returned in the morning, he saw the conductor hanging," police said.
