Nirajan Tiwari (25) was shot last night when the bus reached near Rasulpur village in Gambhirpur area.
The youths managed to flee from the scene after the incident. Tiwari was rushed to hospital, where he was declared brought dead, police said.
No arrests have so far been made in this connection.
