Bus depot superintendent arrested on bribe charges

An official of the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000 from his junior colleague for adjusting the latter's leave.
The accused Anand Behari Sharma worked as office superintendent in the Sindhicamp bus stand and had sought Rs 5,000 from a booking clerk Mahesh Chand Jaiman in the depot for converting his leave and for not serving chargesheet, IG-ACB Smita Srivastava said here.
The accused had received Rs 1,000 in advance from Mahesh, she said.
A case under sections of Anti-Corruption Act was registered against the accused.
