Bus mows down couple, angry locals torch vehicle

A speeding bus mowed down a couple in Gopiganj area here today, sparking violence with agitated locals setting ablaze the vehicle.
Bablu Gautam, aged 32, and his wife Saraswati Devi (25) were killed when they were hit by the bus near Sarai Jagdish village, police said.
Furious over the couple's death, locals torched the bus, they said.
